EVALUATION OF ANTIOXIDANT, ANTIMICROBIAL, ANTICANCER, AND WOUND HEALING PROPERTIES OF LEAF EXTRACTS OF ACANTHUS ILICIFOLIUS L.

Objective: To investigate the in vitro antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer, and wound healing properties of leaf extracts Acanthus ilicifolius.
 Methods: ilicifolius leaves were dried prepared using different solvents cold extraction method. The preliminary phytochemical analysis quantitative methods carried out standard procedures. In antioxidant activity was evaluated DPPH assay. Disc diffusion method employed to determine antimicrobial activities extracts. methanolic extract subjected FTIR GC-MS for characterization phytochemicals. This further HPLC quantification. antiproliferative effects determined MTT assay Cell migration assay.
 Results: highest levels phenol flavonoids detected aqueous extracts, followed by chloroform. Methanolic showed as well significant antibacterial against Klebsiella pneumoniae Staphylococcus aureus. Squalene, a metabolite with known pharmaceutical applications, identified GC-MS, which confirmed quantified analysis. cytotoxic cervical cancer cell line beneficial effect on L929 line. 
 Conclusion: results obtained this study revealed that possess potent wound-healing properties. These are due bioactive components present whose identification could lead development new therapeutic agents.
